Workshops & Programs by R8 Engage

Discover what’s possible when
people come together with purpose.
Engaged & Inspired Workshops & Programs bring people together to think, talk, connect and discover what they may not have seen before.

Led by R8 Engage founder Ally J. Taylor, each experience combines meaningful conversation, practical exercises, storytelling and shared perspectives. Topics span personal growth and direction, leadership, workplace culture, trust, communication, customer experience, change and more.

Designed for individuals, youth, teams, leaders, businesses and community groups, R8 workshops are participatory by design. You’ll think. You’ll talk. You’ll listen. You may be challenged. And you’ll leave with something meaningful to take forward.

The conversation that changes something is simply the one we haven’t had yet.

What Comes Naturally: A Strengths and Talent Discovery Workshop
2-Hour Facilitated Workshop | In Person or Online | Up to 20 Participants

We spend a lot of time thinking about the skills we need to develop and far less time recognizing the strengths we already have.

What Comes Naturally is a two-hour interactive workshop that helps participants uncover the talents, instincts and abilities that have been showing up throughout their lives, often without them realizing their significance.

Through facilitated conversation, individual reflection and interactive activities, participants explore what comes naturally to them, where those strengths may have come from, how others experience them and how they can be used more intentionally.

Designed for teams, leaders, professionals, students and community groups, the workshop also creates a different way of seeing the people around us. Participants leave with a stronger understanding of what they bring to the table and a new perspective on the strengths within their team or group.

Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of your natural strengths, greater confidence in what you bring to the table, and practical insight into how to use those strengths more intentionally in your work, leadership and life.

The Gift of Feedback: Building stronger communication through the way we give, receive and respond to feedback
2-Hour Facilitated Workshop | In Person or Online | Up to 20 Participants
Feedback is part of every relationship. How we give it, how we receive it and what we choose to do with it can shape the way we communicate, build trust and understand one another.

The Gift of Feedback is a two-hour interactive workshop that brings together emotional intelligence, critical thinking, communication and relationship building to explore feedback from both sides of the conversation.

Participants will look at how they interpret and respond to feedback, how their own words and actions are experienced by others, and what happens when emotion, intention and perception enter a conversation. The workshop challenges participants to think beyond their immediate reaction and consider what effective feedback can offer when it is approached with openness, awareness and respect.

Designed for any group of people who communicate, collaborate or share experiences together, The Gift of Feedback offers practical insight that can be carried into the workplace, leadership, teams, organizations and everyday relationships.

Participants will leave with greater confidence giving and receiving feedback, increased awareness of your own communication and responses, and practical approaches for building stronger conversations and relationships.

Find Your Voice: Speaking with confidence, clarity and presence
1-Hour Interactive Workshop | On-Site |
Up to 20 Participants

You don’t have to be a professional speaker to speak with confidence. Sometimes, you just need the opportunity to stand up, find your words and practise being heard.

Find Your Voice is a one-hour interactive workshop that puts participants on their feet and gives them the opportunity to practise speaking in front of others in a supportive and engaging environment.

Participants will be challenged to think on their feet, organize their thoughts, communicate clearly and become more aware of how they connect with an audience. The focus isn’t on delivering the perfect speech. It’s about becoming more comfortable speaking when the moment calls for it.

From meetings and presentations to interviews, introductions, community events and everyday situations, Find Your Voice helps participants build the confidence to stand up, speak clearly and trust what they have to say.
You will leave with greater confidence speaking in front of others, increased awareness of your own speaking style and practical experience you can continue to build on.

Executive. Journalist. Athlete. Sommelier. Entrepreneur. Mother. Mentor. Intuitive medium.
